Ilmues Open Journals invites qualified researchers and professionals to contribute as peer reviewers. As an international and multidisciplinary open scholarly publishing platform, the journals published here rely on the expertise of reviewers from diverse academic and professional backgrounds to uphold high scientific, methodological, and ethical standards.
Eligibility Criteria
Applications are welcomed from individuals who meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Hold a doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
- Demonstrate research expertise in their subject area or related methodologies
- Have peer-reviewed publications in reputable international journals
- Possess experience in applied, theoretical, or computational research
- Have prior experience as a journal reviewer or editor (preferred but not mandatory)
- Advanced postdoctoral researchers or industry experts may also be considered based on demonstrated expertise
Reviewer Responsibilities
Reviewers are expected to:
- Provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations
- Assess the scientific quality, originality, and relevance of submitted manuscripts
- Evaluate methodological soundness and reproducibility, where applicable
- Identify potential ethical concerns, including plagiarism or conflicts of interest
- Maintain strict confidentiality throughout the peer review process
Recognition of Reviewers
The platform recognizes the essential contributions of reviewers through:
- Annual acknowledgements of reviewers (without linking names to specific manuscripts)
- Certificates of reviewing service, available upon request
- Consideration for future editorial or advisory roles, subject to performance and journal needs
How to Apply
Researchers interested in serving as reviewers may submit the following information:
- A brief academic curriculum vitae (CV)
- A list of areas of expertise and relevant keywords
- An ORCID iD, where available
- Institutional affiliation and contact information
Applications should be submitted via the official reviewer application channel provided on the journal platform. The Editorial Office reviews all applications and may contact applicants when suitable manuscripts become available.
Ethical Standards
All reviewers must comply with the platform’s policies regarding:
- Confidentiality
- Disclosure and management of conflicts of interest
- Ethical and responsible peer review conduct
Failure to adhere to these principles may result in removal from the reviewer pool.
